I wanted to know what you all think of this since its the closest thing to a descendant of our car that BMW has to offer.

I like the idea, but I just can't get past BMW's styling these days. I hate all the crimples and creases. I wish they would get back to the elegant simplicity of the old days.

Apparently there won't be a four cylinder until they develop a "proper turbo" four, maybe a descendant of the M42?

I wouldn't touch the hatchback with a stick. Make it a coupe/sedan though.....

Trust me, the pictures don't do this car justice. Wait until you have seen one in person to pass judgement on it.

On that note, my race series will be the support act for the Champcar series 2nd and 9th of august case anybody is interested

honestly, i would beg to differ. a friend of mine, 6ft 2in, fit in the back COMFORTABLY a couple of days ago. i couldn't get over it...i just sat there looking at him with pure amazement. i kept asking over and over, are you sure you're comfortable back there?!

Its actually quite roomy back there...at least in a 2 door.

The M Coupe was dog looking until it became associated with the performance. Then it looked HAWT!
The 1 Series M has 265 HP in the UK Version and goes for US$55K and up. Leather, metallic, electronic gewgaws, take it to US$70. That's pricey but that's all of the new Bimmers.

been on sale here for a few years, or whenever they came out, can't remember. i really like them, an I plan on picking up a used 130i in a few years. with a few mods, and some nice suspension and rubber, I imagine they would be fun as hell.

right now, the used market is still too high, and I wouldn't waste my time with a 120i or lower.

My mother is thinking of a 3dr 120i when they come out.
