after looking for a nice m42 to replace mine , i came across a 01 jetta vr6 that i couldnt pass up . so for now i have to say good bye to you guys . ill be back. :(

Those VWs are nice cars. Not as much fun as the e30...but reliable, good looking and powerful.

Sorry to see you go...but no worries; we'll still be here when you feel like sharing!

ill have another e30 sometime in the future but for now my wife wanted something newer and i have a new job that im putting alot of miles on the car so i need something that i dont have to tinker with every weekend . But you know as well as i do once you get e30 in your blood you cant get rid of it.:D

Same thing happened to me. I drove my Dad's BMW long enough to get the blau und weiss in my blood...but I went through a bunch of Euro & Japanese cars in the meantime, including a nice old VW Golf and a Jetta III. Neither ever left me stranded, though a lot of little stuff broke on the Golf. VW QC has tremendously improved since the 80's...the Jetta III was a vast improvement. Sold it to a friend's son and I'll bet it's still running!
