How would one go about selling a very low production rare car?
The car in question is a 1982 Toyota Corolla SR-5 Griffith Limited Edition convertible. Toyota commissioned Griffith coachworks to make a convertible from the SR-5 coupe and then sold them through dealers. As far as I can tell only 200 were made. My example only has 26K miles, is essentially in mint condition, has all the right options, has always been garaged, and was bought new by my father. There is an overwhelming chance that this is the best example of this car in the world. I might even venture to say it could be a museum piece if Asian cars have museums.

If I were to sell it, How would I make sure to get it's full worth?
I have heard price estimates from $10K-15K, but it is only worth as much as someone will pay for it...

I would give eBay a try. You would get quite a bit of exposure with it listed on there. Take good pics and explain how rare/mint it is. Who knows, maybe there's someone out there that has always wanted one.

Just my .02... gluck nonetheless!

Considering the car's age, the stripe may have to stay as the paint will be different under it. The door edge adds a vertical line that makes the car look shorter and detracts from the uniqueness of the model. Are the wheels original? If not, I would consider going for something more OEM. They look aftermarket even if they aren't. In this case just those few items will add to the aesthetic quality of the car. With a car like this, the look of quality is very important. Otherwise, it's just an oddity and not really desirable. These things would cost less than $400-$500 and really help in getting top dollar. I did a search and found nothing on this car except places to buy replacement tops. I'm sure you've done the same.
