is the sensor with blue connector for the engine coolant temp sensor that feeds the info to dme? or the yellow one?

Blue one, yellow is for instrument gauge in dash.

Correct, the one closest to the front of the car in case you can't make out the colors.

Is there a way of testing this sensor ??? (ECT) for the fuel injection.
It doesn't say in the bentley ,it just talks about the guage

( edit ) I found it in the injection system part of the bentley .
