Hello, i was instructed to introduce myself by Febi Guibo via R3V.
Ive been around e30s for years, this is technically my 4th e30 [two 84 318i's, 318is, and this frankenstein of an automobile] Anywho, the car was a Dschwartz 91 318is until some punk kid hit me and totaled it out. So i turned around and bought a Bronzit, yes i know, 88 325is chassis with only the glass and gastank left [not interior, suspension, motor, ect.] A simple swap one to the other and you have a nice E30!

Man, what is with this dis on the Bronzit. I think it is the prettiest color BMW produced. End of discussion. I always think of a bubbling glass of champagne when I see that color.

Yeah. These things are cool, but not practical IMO. The baskets will go back on pretty soon until the tires are shot, then these on for the summer. Come next summer ill have 225/50s on the baskets and the kopis for get togethers

I didn't think Bronzit was offered on the 318is? This is the first one I've ever seen.

That's cool, but as much as I love the M42, if I were going to go through the trouble of an engine swap, I'd have gone with an M50 or some other 6 cylinder variocam engine.
Regardless... welcome to the club.

he had a diamondshwartz 318is before, but that got totaled. Hence the bronzit donor car!

Yeah, the only thing 325 on the car since ive had it is the gas tank. Which allows me to go ~ 400 miles between fill ups... muhuhahaha

I love it except for the pizza pie wheels! :p
I'm just givin' ya shit, but seriously I'd stick with the basketweves. They look hot on it.
I bought my car when I was living in Cleveland (actually a suburb called Avon Lake). Just have to watch out for rust.

Nice car. How do you like the H&R/Bilstein sports? I have the same setup. K&N drop in too lol. Anyhow I love how your car looks. I'm in the market for an M-tech 1 spoiler and real alpinas ;) (can't bring myself to buy Kopis)

Ive had the H&R's on 4 different cars, they are from an 84 318i i used to have, so im very used to them. Id like to find H&R race springs at some point, but they are no where near cheap.
Kopis look cool and all, but they weigh a bit too much, so once these tires are shot, or by the end of the summer, they are gonna get sold.

They are smoked headlights, made by Hella. Real deal, no "tinting" of any sort. Pricey, but worth it. Got mine a long time ago, before the price hike that you see around now...
