I got tricked, lol, into drivin the R6 and I LOVE them!!! Dang, now I really want one. I think I'll end up getting one in the near future finances willing ;)

i have before and wish i could get back on a bike. is this your first bike? i wouldnt suggest an r6 for a first bike though. you need like a ninja zx6r or something. keep the option of ripping all the skin off your body to a minimum.

it would be "best" to get a newer bike thats fuel injected..

I've grown out of the 600's into liter bikes but I could picture myself back into the newer 600's as they are putting out just as much power as liter bikes from a few years ago.
Currently doing an engine swap on my Aprilia RSV Mille.
BMW R75 as a primitive cruiser. Cable clutch, speedo/tach, no fusebox(directly wired), no hydraulics(all drum brakes), kick starter, non halogen lighting, etc.
BTW, I love my dual shotguns on the Aprilia.
Underseat exhaust = Ducatti trademark
Dual Side exaust(GP moto style) = Aprilia

Depends on if you want a full fairing sport bike ,naked bike, or a cruiser.

Damn, you must be like my friends. The cheapest bike they would allow me to get to ride with them at the time was the Giant NRS. Being a sucker for motorsports and since the ex-chassis designer of Formula 1 Benneton team designed the NRS frame, I was suckered in pretty easily. :) Their bikes are still 5x the price of mine but damn, that is another expensive hobby too.

yeah I'm kinda still into and kinda not. I'm not racing anymore but I'm still modding it slowly lol. I'm trying to just ride and not buy new stuff for it but its soo tempting...haha
