Any tips on refinishing the rear spoiler? Mine has fine cracks in it. I've tried a little sanding with no real effect. Is there something out there to fill the cracks.

Thanks.

You could try this method, LINK (http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=72960&highlight=refinishing+spoiler) (Post #3)

Hope that helps.

Wow, that link is a cornucopia of info (sarcasm).

I used a very small amount of bondo on the cracks, then sprayed the whole thing with "tool grip". It worked great. The stuff has a nubby finish, so it hides imperfections well, it is flexible, and dries to a nice semi-gloss black. The finish isn't stock of course, but looks factory produced- like it was dipped. In fact it made me wonder if there might not be an areodynamic improvement since I'm sure ther is more turbulance than there used to be, which should help the airflow to separate from the body. I also sprayed the badly dented, pitted, and rusty areas I fixed up on the rear valence. The stuff has been totally resistant to stuff thrown up by the back tires.

I just painted mine with Duplicolor truck bed liner stuff. After two coats, looks great! Easy stuff to paint with too.

I liked it, so I painted my front iS lip spoiler with it too.
