BTCC E30 318iS

I just found out about E30 318iS competing in the BTCC in 1990 and 1991. Robin Brundle drove one in 1990 under the Techspeed banner and in 1991, Angus MacKay and Alistair Lyall raced under the R&D Motorsport banner.

If anyone has more information or better pics, please post them.

I believe these cars ran a S42.

IIRC the S42 was only in the E36. The entire reason they made the S42 was due to the production end for the S14 which ran through the end of the E30. Thus there would be no reason to throw in S42 into an E30.

I believe that I have the complete blueprints and specs to that motor. However, you are looking to spend at least 10k to duplicate. And that is if you do the labor yourself less the machine work.
