Hi everyone, I've just bought an Montreal Blue, M42 engined 1994 E36 318 IS coupe :) It's very tidy for 15 years old!

I've been reading this forum all day and it's very helpful

Cheers, Sean

Thanks :) I was originally looking for a gen 6 Celica but they were all either overpriced basket cases or just overpriced!
I'm loving my 318 already, its such a nice piece of engineering inside and out and once I get the OZ alloys refurbed it will look awesome too...

I'm trying to upload pics but it keeps failing.

Just make sure the size of the jpeg or etc is smaller then 10 KB or something like that.

Try that!

Hmm I just noticed today on the way to work a scraping noise from the rear axle... any ideas?

I'll drive it some more to get a more useful description :) I've only driven it properly this morning!

It sounds like a light grinding/scraping noise when driving in gear but goes away as soon as you put a little bit of throttle down.

(22/01/10 Turned out to be a wheel bearing in the end!)
