Any one out there have firsthand experience with Bilstein Touring Class shocks, which are supposed be similar to OEM?

Any experience with Billy TCs and H&R Sport springs?

Any insight will be appreciated. Gary

I have Billy TC's . They ride okay .Not to stiff .

I had TCs with M3 springs - rode great but the springs didn't give any drop so I relented and got Sports and H&R springs.

BTW - I still have the TCs, only put ~5000 mi on them - $130 + shipping if you're looking.

I have Bilstein tc's and Tokico lowering springs. I like the feel of the ride, stiff but it doesn't throw you around. The springs allow the car to drop and sit pretty nice. A little lower on the front would be perfect.

When you use H&R springs does the back still sit a little lower than the front?

In the last 5K miles my car had TC's (on stock springs), bushings, spring pads, etc replaced and it's a good setup for daily use. There's a bit more body roll than I like, but the car is entertaining to drive and has fairly high cornering limits on 205-55-15 summer tires, and is very predictable without any harshness over rough roads. I think that a thicker front bar will go in eventually, but I like the car as it is.

i have TCs on OEM E30 M3 springs and my car handles terrific. 318idol, if you want a test ride, let me know.

I would think that the e30 springs and TC's would be a nice, mild improvement in performance over stock. With a more agressive spring, I'd be interested to see how the TC holds up in the long term.
