Hello,
I was due to flush my brake fluid, so I did it today. I used pentosin DOT4 and my motive brake bleeder (pressure unit).
In the middle of the job, I started getting a leak to the ground. After a while I noted the leak, the blue rubber coated by cloth hose was dripping. After a while, it actually blew off!
Its not held on by anything really. Just a nipple on the reservoir with the hose friction-fit on. I only used 15 psi, which was find 4 years ago, but not today.
SO I just want to check... I can find this blue hose at pelican parts, but what is it for? The reservoir sits on top of the brake master cylinder, so does this line feed the clutch master cylinder? What is the correct routing of this line? I dont see it past the brake booster. How much of the line do I need? If I get this, do I need the plastic connector that connects this hose to the clutch master cylinder, I understand this is a common failure point, but Im not sure if it attaches to this blue hose...
Is there an attachment point someplace back there? Anything to be aware of?
Thanks!!!
