Hi folks.
Just got some mustang injectors shipped from the USA at a good price but cant get them to seal. They came with brown color seals but that ended up spraying fuel everywhere. I swapped them out with the green color seals which are a bit thicker but its still trickling out where it goes into the manifold.

What seals are you guys using? have you had the same issues?

Whats the bosch part number on the side of the injectors? Starts with 0280xxxxxx.
If you are using EV6 injectors, you probably ran into the same problem i did.

All mustang injectors are not the same. Mine came from a Thunderbird.

0280 155 700 are the ones look to be the same as yours. yep they are

so any old half inch washer should work? it just needs the pressure against the rail? have you had issues since?

Directions and specifics would be nice

ive had the rail out 4 times now its doing my head in lol

Just put the half inch washer around the bottom of the injector and install it the same way the old ones came out. Half inch washers worked for me but its not an ideal setup. Be sure to replace the seals on the injectors and once installed pressurize the fuel system a few times to check for leaks before you reinstall the rest of the intake. Also these injectors are slightly smaller than stock. This is mostly an improvement in fuel economy and idle smoothness, not power. Theres a lot of other 155 injectors out there that work just as well or better. NA volvo 850 (0280155746) injectors from 95-97 are virtually identical. Saab/Vectra V6 injectors (0280155712) make a nice upgrade at 21.5# if you decide to open up the intake a bit. Thats where I'll be going next. Ford Taurus 24v V6 injectors (0280155715) are even better at 22.5#.

Ok got them in no sign of leaking so far. Used the good ol 1/2 washers.

I might be looking at changing them in the near future. looking at making a custom airbox so will put this on the dyno, check afr and probably go the 715's
