Definitely a sequential straight cut gearbox...

There's also straight cut gearbox with the H gate used in the rallies. And it whines too..

continuing on with my intro to sequential gear boxes, is the SMG in the E46
M3 a true sequential? I'd really like to try one of those and then compare it to a regular manual.

SMG uses actuators to activate the clutch and the gearshift. But I don't think it's catergorised as a true sequential.

Another thing that you guys forgot to add to the facts about straight cut gears is that they greatly reduce lateral loads on the transmission.
