Wish I had that many running cars. Running, I have the E30 318i and the 745i. I also have the E24 and a pair of E21s not running.

It's not a problem...

I hate feeling like I am taking this thread over but how do you feel about your x3?
It's between that and the x5 for the Mrs.

Thats why the kits for the swap appeal to me - everything included. I think it may cost a couple hundred bucks more but will be very straightforward
Careful with the kit (I used the zionsville one), if I remember correctly their kit was designed for a non airbag e30, so you had to modify the knuckle or something along those lines for an airbag car. It's well documented on R3V and e30tech I believe.

She looks really good.
Your going to use her as a parts car?
Save it and copy it to put the other one back together! :P

Hey Rohan how are you?? Started the ball rolling tonight with the engine rebuild. Found a place here that has 25 years experience and the owner seems real keen on tackling the project. He's doing his research and will get back to me next week.. Details then...

As for the new car, yeah she is really quite clean.. It does her a disservice to call her a "parts" car but I will snag a few things off of her. Black interior for one. M3 rack, BC racing coilovers which are new (may sell them though as I think my Bilstein/Eibach kit will be a better ride), both doors are very clean and alternator has been rebuilt. I'll sell off the wheels and replace them with the ones I got with my original iS. I paln to keep the car about 1 year... Of course, I may just keep her too... hehehe
