I've got him on the M42 'friends and family' plan now.... it's only $19.95 a month, before tax.

There were some horror stories of people doing things similar to this and ended up with new leaks. What do you guys think?

Heh, a buddy of mine had that exact problem with SeaFoam in his 1987 Toyota pickup. It has 250000 miles on it, and when he Seafoamed if cleaned all the gunk out...the gunk that was sealing his head gasket in a number of places. Coolant-oil slurry is gross, lemme say that! I would not worry about that happening though. If your motor is in that bad of shape already then you probably need to do a LOT of work on it anyway.

LOL, As true as that may be, the gunk maybe saving me from doing the work on it right now.

Hehe. Yeah, I do not think there should be too much crap built up in anyone's engine. I think the M42 is a lot more sensitive to oil leaks & stuff...and I do not think many of us here would run around in a car that burned oil & let it be. Hell, the carbon buildup raises our CR anyway wheeee!
