E36 cheap ebay suspension repair KIT, did anyone used those?

It says the manufacturer is "ECD-Germany" and I've never heard the name before, but I tend to be a bit of a "brand snob" and deal with Pelican Parts or another online BMW dealer.

One thing I noticed over the years is that Germans are somewhat brutal in their feedback and the company has 99.8% from over 14,500 transactions. Of course, all that may indicate is the shipping and customer service is better than the long-term durability of the products sold.

I bought a cheap EBay kit like that (for my e34) from FCP Groton.  I regretted it immediately, as the lower "upgraded" suspension arms were a solid 2mm too long and a piece was missing.  FCP Groton stood behind their product...they were good about the refund, but it was very annoying to have a car down for a week waiting for parts to arrive.

The cheapest I'll go now is Meyle.  My rule of thumb for cheap parts or tools largely depends on how willing I am to do the job over again.

This phrase applies best when buying car parts

If it sounds to good to be true...... it probably is.

No idea the quality of this product, though Usually you get what you pay for.

Thanks for your answers.

I've checked and the above kit is sold in Germany as well so I would assume that it has passed some regulations and it is not a danger to put it on the car.

The price for the whole kit is less than just an OEM arm.
