Hello all, new to the site, but up to my elbows in e30's...2 m42 cars,1 m20, and an m50 e36...love these things, quirks and all...my son, known on other sites, got me into these things with the warning they are addictive...yeah, no sh#t...!!! Primarily I make my living as a painter..(cars boats etc) and surfboard shaper on the side...any help I can provide, just ask...

Welcome to the 'club!  Sounds like you're ready for the fun...they're one of BMW's best, no doubt in my mind.

They are addictive.  It's nice to actually work on something, instead of reading off a computer screen...saw your other post.  I'll bet you have a great big vac leak, maybe on the ICV hose.  That'll get you every time.

With your skills in paint & finish you're ahead of my game.  Mechanical stuff is pretty easy compared to body work IMHO.

I'll bet there's a market for remakes of popular e30 accessories...I know the M-Tech stuff fetches a pretty penny on teh EBay.  I've never seen a full M-Tech kit in the flesh.
