You can splice an adapter in there but you have to get vac & coolant back to the right places...  So be careful.  If I'm thinking of the same thing you are, that's not a vac line...coolant runs through the TB heater plate.

Are you doing the hose delete or just cleaning things up?

Make sure you know what goes where.  It's a mess under there!  You definitely don't want to mix them up...

I bypassed my throttle body heater and replaced all the ccv/icv hoses with OE stuff. In my opinion it's really not a mess once you've got it out of the car, and it's actually kind of clever I think. There's a hose that comes out of the head and goes to the upper TB heater plate, and a hose that comes out of the lower TB heater plate to the right hand side 4-way fitting. Just connect the outlet on the head directly to the 4-way fitting.

The green stuff in this diagram is deleted. The red line represents the connection that is made in its place. The blue hose is what I used to make the red connection.

I completed the delete of the vacuum hose mess under the intake manifold today as I was reinstalling the cylinder head. . I left the heater block in place within   the throttle block. Plugged the 2 water connections, I left it in place just in case I need to hook it back up later. I have 0 vacuum leaks now. Its grt.!!!!!!

Good to hear.  Did the delete solve any problems you had with the car.
