Until I clicked the link I thought that maybe it could one of last e30s made. I agree with clutchkick, the price is high. Good luck on the sale nevertheless!

Wow, nice car. But, I agree with the others I don't think there is a market for that car at that price. You might as well just keep it you have too much money in the car.

Thanks for the feedback. Looks like you guys are probably right.  I have over 1300 views on my eBay listing but only 10 watching.  I figured I´d start at Blue Book plus the amount I put into it then bringing the price down over time.

Does anyone have an idea of what the depreciation is on the work I have done to it?  It hasn´t even been a year since the work was done.

Well, the real problem is that the interest for an m3 look alike with an m42 4 cylinder is about zero. The car looks gorgeous and looks like you have taken VERY good care of it. However, the m42 is setting you back a bit. You may be able to get the price you want if there was an s50/52 under the hood.

Whoever buys it can do that or whatever mod they want to the engine: turbo, supercharger, engine swap...personally I'd rather start with a clean car than with one that needs a lot of work and is a complete project from the ground up.

If I don't sell it in the next 10 days, I'll put it in storage and deal with it when I get back from my trip.

Here is what I see around oregon....
Documented restoration paint jobs add about 2500 to the value of most special cars I see auctioned. That means step by step photo diary of the work.

Wheels, add 200 to the value for the average buyer. (too hard to spot knock offs)

Motor build, 200 unless its done by a name specialty builder with a name... IE Roush...

Interior, most folks figure its just there... Unless the car is exceedingly rare..

Custom cars seldom bring a fraction of the investment.

If I paid the 20 grand it would require to do a frame off on my 57 fairlane it would be worth $12K... Its a labor of love ....

Of course take it to Las Vegas for Hot August nights and who knows...

Thanks Dave.  It definitely has been a labor of love :)

I've got it on a "Run 'Til It Sells" ad on AutoTrader.com:

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?ct=p&car_id=271357378&dealer_id=64816133

For now, I will put it in storage.  I like the Hot August Nights idea - Vegas is fairly close to SD.
