I'd sell that car to someone that desperately wants to keep their old 740iL on the road for a little while longer. That car was seriously under-engineered IMHO. Likely a few parts would swap over from the motor but I doubt any would be worthwhile.
I'd be tempted to swap the ASC+T system over...and maybe take a crack at the stereo if it has navigation, or even just the CD head unit. It'd be compatible with some rewiring.
You can pull the lights out of the cluster - they're the same. You can also grab the little reflectors marker lights in the bumpers. They'll fit but the bulb housing is different. Just untwist & swap bulb housings. I suspect that the projector headlights are the same too, but the e30 needs a special frame to mount them. The radiator fan might fit, the resistor is the same. I wondered if the larger radiator of the M60 would swap in. It's huge, so it might need too much work to fit.
Here's one you might not have thought of. The bigger e34 tool tray will swap directly to the e30. The lid even has the four holes ready for screws. You'd need a larger bit of foam, but it'll line right up. I have one in mine now. I've heard the e34 ET20 wheels are best for the 5-lug conversion. You could sell them to people looking for upgrades to their e34's too. The steering wheel should fit too.
My old E34 525i had very few parts in common with my old 325i, other than the powertrain/DME/engine wiring harness/cruise control. The 318is has even less in common.
I think the ABS pump is similar, and the master cylinder might swap too. The electronics are similar but not the same. I'll bet you could hack e34 gauges into the e30, but it's not worthwhile. Suspension is totally different, brakes also. Diff would fit, but in an entirely different case. I think the only e30 with the large-case diff was the M3.
