Exhaust WTF?

In South Africa we did not get the 318iS, but i see on the 318i that where the exhaust passes the chassis craddle at the rear(just behind the fuel tank) the exhaust is squashed.
Do the iS have the same thing?
What size exhaust do the 318iS usualy upgrade to?(looking to do the swap)

Yes, the 318is has the same thing. Most people here just have a custom exhaust done with (IIRC) 2-1/4" pipe.

my 318 had the squash pipe too,
new mines 2 1/2
thats what the shop had plenty of, and the magnaflow that was ordered came in at 2 1/2 instead of the 2 1/4
same price for pipe so I thought , why not
