A Newby is amongst you all

Hey yall. My name is Chris and I just got a 97 316i. Well I was going to get rid of it until fate turned around and my friend wrecked his 318i. So pouncing on this opportunity I took the engine and tranny before he scrapped the poor thing. Now I have a M42:)  I plan on doing a turbo build sometime in the near future.

Welcome, and good luck with your build.  
I have learned so much from this site and it has given me the confidence to take on some projects I do not believe I would have tried other wise.
