So I finally picked up my first E30. It is a 91 318is M42 5sp. It is alpine with blue cloth interior and no sunroof! It is pretty clean with 154k and has always been a Florida car. It has cross drilled rotors on the front, Pioneer head unit, and a K&N air filter. It had these stupid mirrors on it when I got it but I have replaced them with the stock ones that came with it. I have also removed the roundels on the c-pillars. When I bought it it needed a really good cleaning, pass window was not working but I fixed it. I had to replace belts the first day I drove it b/c the fan one broke urg:mad: but the rest of it is in great mechanical shape. Oh I am really excited about this car and how easy they are to work on, so far knock on wood.
I know I have to take that stupid ///M badge of but I will when I have to replace an a/c line. I plan on doing a drop, different seats, tint, and a chip b/c it is soooo slow haha. Maybe boost next summer but that depends on a few things. I really want to autox it and so far it is really nimble so I think it will be a great car for it, just needs more power.
Oh how could I forget, I got it for 1900.
The outside and engine pics were the day I brought it home before any cleaning. The seat pics are after a few days of driving and cleaning. Sorry they are cell phone pics.

Looks good, I kind of like the grilles instead of the fog blank plates. How does the engine sound?

I apologize for the delayed response, I never saw it until just now when I was checking to see how many miles it had when I got it.
Thanks, the grills are ok but I haven't made up my mind on them still lol The engine sounds great and up to almost 163k and still running like a champ. It sounds like a sewing machine and is kinda loud but that's all part of the charm I guess

do you happen to know the part number for the plate filler you have at the back? I want one for my car, but i only ever find the euro one, i like the one with raised siding on both sides like yours.

It is actually off of a VW and was made by the previous owner. I will try and get a chance to look at the part number on the back but it is finals week. I know he cut it to fit but it looks pretty good, just needs resprayed.
