best flywheel / clutch combo

putting an M44 motor in my car, and im going to replace the flywheel/clutch.  and i need to know what the best way to go is, in terms of price/performance.

i kind of remember reading something about a guy using an M20 flywheel, a clutch from something else, and a throw out bearing from something else as well.  (using stock ones to keep the price on everything down)  dont really want to spend the 700 on the turner kit, but if thats all that there is, then so be it.
