whitch piston is # 1 on the m42?:confused: ive never timed one of these engines. any tips, also a fireing order would be nice if its anything like a s52 i should be ok

Number one is the closest to the radiator.

Firing order is 1342.

There are many topics around regarding the timing, just search and i'm sure you'll find everything you need.
