Spring suggestions

Hello all,

I'm looking to set up a '91 318i for autocross and occasional track usage. I'm a college student, so I'm looking to do mods as cheaply as possible.

Someone local is selling rear springs only for very cheap with the following specs:
5" - 425 lb/in
6" - 475 lb/in

Any way to get drop springs for the front only? Any recommended rates?

I could just get a set of H&R race springs (anyone know the rates on those) or maybe the IE stage 3, but that's more expensive.

Thanks in advance. I wish I knew more about good spring rates for this car...
