Boosted M42 & Wasted Spark with stock coils...

I'm pretty sure the stock coils were never intended to run wasted spark, but it seemed the simplest route for setting up my MS on my newly boosted motor. I am concerned that they will produce a week spark at high revs. 14,000 sparks per minute is quite a bit to ask from something that was never intended to spark more than 7,000 times per minute.

Does anyone have any experience with this presenting a problem?
Is there any tell tale signs of weak spark at high revs on boosted motors?

What about M42 coils, vs M44 coils, vs. say.... S52 coils or an after market performance coil like an Accel Ford set up?
I have M42 and M44 coils, so I hoping they will work and I won't have to spend any  more money.

Someone here has COP kits for our motors, they look nice, albiet if they won't help you, they won't help you.
If they would help, it is a nice solution!

I have not used them, but I have used similar setups with no problems.  I would say just go for it.

aslong as your alternator and battery is top notch condition you will never have a problem... good luck

isn't the stock settup wasted spark?

anyways, what are the specs of your motor if your planning to see 14,000 rpm?

stock set up is not waste spark.

factory set up or the cop kit that members on here are selling work great to and are fine up to 15psi as far as i know, I havent had a problem yet.
