There's probably more interest in additives that reduce emissions as smog certification becomes more common. The simple fact is anything that significantly improved mileage would be a gold mine.

This has been tested by a number of groups capable of accurate testing and found not only is it false, but it can do serious damage to your engine.

As stated, if it truly did what all is claimed, all gas would already have had it in there.
