Parts to come!
« on: June 30, 2006, 04:51:18 AM »
So I just ordered a bulk of suspension parts. Can't wait for them to arrive!
This is what I ordered:

Bilstein Sport shocks
IE Stage 3 springs
IE Engine mounts
IE Subframe bushings
IE trailing arm bushings
E46 Cabrio RSM
E30 M3 CAB
Tie Rod
Z3 1.9 SS
Air, Oil, Fuel Filters
Spark Plugs
Redline D4ATF and 75w90
Oil pan gaskets (gonna get the pan checked out)

I've never ordered this much stuff before :(. I wanted the IE RSMs but IE is going to be out for a month or something. Going to see if I can get some E30 guys to help w/ the install :D.
I got the springs and shocks for $600 cdn too! :).

Way to go.  I was gonna report back to you that I like the Vogtland springs, but I think I'd want to go just a little stiffer...   H&R Race is probably about perfect (which, incidently, is the same spring as the IE Stage III).

I think you ordered some top rate stuff and you'll love it!!!

I hate suspension work for the most part, so getting some help from people that have BTDT will be extremely valuable.

If something doesn't fit right, or you are having problems.  Stop, think about it, do some research online and consult the forum.  We'll be here if you need us!  :D

Good luck with everything and let me know if you ever sell your car.

Thanks for the compliment M42boy, but your engine bay looks a lot nicer than mine :).
