Shipping a Tranny
« on: September 29, 2008, 09:42:34 AM »
Hi guys,

Just wondering if any of you have shipped a transmission anywhere in the US. I'm shipping from Tennessee to Houston, TX. My buddy's trans dropped 4th gear .Was wondering if anyone has prices for shipping companies.

Any help is much appreciated.

The last time I shipped a tranny I just stuck him in a box with his high heels and make-up and dropped him off at UPS.  Oh and tape his mouth so he doesn't make any noise.  Highly recommended.

I've shipped a t56 by putting it on a pallet and dropping it off with Fed Ex. I don't recall what it cost but somewhere around $100.
