Shattered Piston Ring ???

Well, I don't post on here all that much, but I am hoping to rely on this user bas e for some helpful information.

I have a '95 E36 M42 with a DASC 11 PSI w/ Intercooler.  I am also running a fully built head including cams and the best valve train that money could buy.  The car is 100% track for me towed there and back everything from AutoX to HPDEs.

About two years ago, I got the car running really well did multiple AutoXs and about 5 tracks days absolutely beating on the car, and it took it to a point.  Towards the end of the year at an event I noticed that the headgasket was leaking coolant from the water jacket too atmosphere, but absolutely nothing was making it into the combustion chamber.  I decided that the headgasket needed to be replaced, so I got a nice 3 layer from MetricMechanincs on the east coast that is known for building the crazy high revving M42s.  I got the car back together and took it to the next AutoX about 8 laps in the car began to burn oil, and I mean a lot.  I went through about 4 quarts in 8 laps.

I just recently replaced the Crank Case Vent Valve in hopes that it was just a minor issue.  I cranked her over and it looks like the oil is still being burned, even at idle every few seconds you see a nice cloud come out the tail pipe.  If you actually drive the car were talking a contrail like 50ft. long.  I recently began some diagnostic work and performed a compression test.  I got between 190 - 195 PSI across all four cyl, so I guess the next thing to do is a leakdown test to see if the piston rings are gone.

My thought was that if a piston ring went that there should be some kind of a compression loss as well, am I wrong?

I know that there are multiple piston rings, is it possible to just shatter the oil ring and have compression still be fine?

While running the car burning oil or not the car was still fast as hell...  So I am kinda of lost on where to go from here.

Here is a quick video from the AutoX, where it all went down:
