Hi people. I had searched the web for info about m42 tuning and saw this page, it's great.
I'm from Croatia, 24 years old, traffic engineer, and this is my second bmw, briliant rot 318is. It's in pretty good condition, never had any greater accidents so the chassis is still "in one piece". When bought 4 years ago it had 158 000Km passed, today has 196 000km. During this period i had replaced timing chain + tensioneer and slider, front and rear brakes, visco clutch (cooling), now on the next service i'm planning to replace all rubber mountings and some parts off rear and front axle that are bad.
I have also made some small modifications:
- white turning signal lenses
- seats shifted in combination leather/Textile
- M tech II steering wheel
- DTM style exhaust
- custom made speaker panels in front dors for 2x 16cm speakers
