E36 318iS won´t start

Hi, I am new here, I am from Slovakia

My BMW E36 318iS 12/1993 won´t start. :confused:

Starter runs OK.
Spark plug don´t make spark.

When engine was hot, car started with problems but started, wneh engine come cold car won´t start.

I chcecked "Crankshaft position sensor" - the resistance was 502 ohms, is that ok?

Cranksaft sensor have resistance 1290 ohms

What I shoud to chceck?

Did you give the car a really good wash recently?  Or run it through a high-pressure car wash?  I know the early e36 is famous for flooding the plenum and then the soggy computer/ECU/DME won't run.  Check if the little 'elephant trunk' drain on the passenger side firewall is clogged up.  It's under the brake lines a little bit, beside the rear of the engine.

Also remember that you can't just swap the ECU/DME on some of those cars too, they have to be matched with the EWS system.

ECU was problem, i will make it waterproof

Nice car...I almost bought a '98 323i sedan in a similar shade of green.  What's with the T-34/Panzer Mark IV and the DC-3?
