How did you solve the engine temperature sensor problem?
I have an M44 in my E30 and the M44 has only 1 sensor but the E30 requires 2.

Maybe you're not using your engine in an E30 but any ideas?

At the moment I try to find an air box and concluded a few things, before mounting in the car.
Recently I went on a tour with a small engine, 1796cc. 151 ps.

See you soon.

The engine of 151 PS is presented here.

Early preparation engine M 42.

Here I present to you a little preparation I made a little over a year, I am an amateur like most of you, so there is no scientific computing, but rather a logical staff "In addition to reading, which deals with the preparation of the engines a little patience and passion.
Budget around 2500 to 3000 euros

The yoke
I dig little 1 mm. On the radius and then sanding depending on the desired finish and guides nine, the report volumetric is 10.5.

Adjustment of inlet pipes
With a red lip on the paper then pipe on the cylinder head coach on greenhouse is removed and the path is made that there is no longer widening.

Piping
Even work on the cylinder head

The valve lifters, springs and distribution
Valves origins 7 mm. New, springs DBILAS doubles and push origins, distribution is new,

Camshafts
262 degrees at DBILAS, pulleys are adjustable home

The rods
New original 140 mm. Then lean polished

Balanced weighs on the foot of the rod all the same weight and then head all the same weight and complete all the same weight.

Pistons
Originally 84 mm new segments

Engine block
The cylinder is déglacé to stone.

The crankshaft
Poli and balanced, polishing my taking three months during my lunch break, not all good either breaks

The shuttle engine
325 i balanced, which has replaced the 318 has the advantage right because it is lighter and that the clutch of origin 325i is stronger

Injection
Originally + injecteur 233cc.

Electronics
Originally, chip comes from Germany I do not recall most of what Blocker?

This engine running for one year without any problems with a maximum 7500t/min, I have not spent on the bench but it should come it is well supported by a box M3 and a sleplimited 4 / 10

My English just google translation, sorry.
See you soon.

Why didn't you polish rods everywhere? only "sides" and from the "top"?

The Polish I rods
1) for the strength, so the polish or there is likely to break.
2) to ease, so the piston side is more important.
