What is the cylindrical item mounted next to the cone air filter? I have never seen anything like that. Looks like a large fuel filter.

What I meant was the backlight. I've never seen an Alpine unit with red backlighting.

Acually I can change the color of backlight...it has Dual Illumination (Green / Amber)
