CR7's VS KT4's
« on: July 08, 2007, 12:15:21 PM »
well its time that my lil 318is to get some new shoes and ive searched and searched and come up with 2 candidates
the CR7's
http://www.cr-leichtmetallraeder.de/cr/cr7si.php
or Keskin KT4's
http://www.keskin-tuning.de/Seiten/Low/FDetail.asp?FID=KT%204#
but then it comes down to size... i recently drove past a fellow E30'r with the KT4's 9/16 rear and 7.5/16 fronts its looked really hot and to my surprise he was running 245's rear!!!! with no rubbing and no fender rolling
the rear wheels are 25 offset and well CR7's are offeres at 25 mm offset for their 9/16's too so my question is
A. which set? keskins are a lil cheaper but not as rare as CR7's
B. do you think if i got 9/16 rear CR7's et 25 mm i could run 245's?

I vote kt4. The cr7's look to heavy and have too much surface area on the hub IMHO.

same setup but the car is black
heres a question despite what everyone here is saying im thinking imma go for the CR7's
I dunno i just like the fact that they are a lil rarer and i prefer them just a touch
so the plan is
9/16 et 25 running on 245/45/16 rears
and
7.5/16 et 15 running on 215/45/16 front
think thatll work... people are telling me that itll track poorly cause they are staggered... but that sounds like a big load cause i know many high performance cars with MUCH bigger rear wheels and tires than the front

Whoa.  Just discovered this thread.  I am all over the CR7's.  Any distributors in the U.S. of A.?  Any idea what they weigh?  Anybody got them on this forum, or pictures on an E30 even?
