Well, having lusted over an E30 for some time now, I finally came across the "right" car for me. I've owned several Hondas(modified an unmentionable amount more), a Miata, and even a Dodge Dakota at one point. :hide: My Dad's HUGE into Jeeps and has a rather impressive beast, if you go to my homepage(facebook), you'll see pictures of all mentioned vehicle. I currently live in small-town, Wyoming, and am traveling back home(Toledo, OH) for some deer hunting in November, as well as picking up a '91 318iS. He originally planned to keep the car for his girlfriend and give it a good once over, but unfortunately, she doesn't want it and he would rather not part it out. My plans for the car include getting it back into good condition, lots of T.L.C., and fixing the transmission(it will only shift into 1, 3, 5, and R) so I can get it back out here in the springtime. Until that time, it'll lay dormant on a trailer at a storage facility.

Anyway, here are some pictures of the car(the black one) with my friend's gorgeous 325 to hold everyone over until I can get home and snap some more. This'll take a long time for me to do, but I'm tired of dealing with delapidated POS cars that give me nothing but headaches through ownership and heartaches in the end, with less than promising results. I'm going to take my time with this one and do it right.

Looks great save for the front valence. That valence came on early metal-bumper 325is's I think, and would look ok with another fog and a repaint, but there was a nice black pastic-bumper valence for sale on ebay last I checked.

The v-8 swap sounds cool, but be ready to take a lot of flak from the people on bmw forums. Many tend to not like american 8s in a bmw...   You will probably need a substantial rollcage to keep the chassis from twisting under acceleration ;)
