Yep, got all these parts and are all ready to go in next wee(spring break) and then I'll b able to handle and b having some fun.

Sitting there is IE Stage 3, shocks are not in pic but are Rancho RS9000 complements of e9nine I got them all figured out, then Mintex red box, new lines for front(back I am getting tomorrow at parts shop), new brake wear sensor.
I'll post up pics next week once I'm done w/ it. Crappy pic sorry.

Get her dropped and have some fun. Glad to see you got the Rancho issues sorted out. Do you still need a spacer for the front? How did that turn out?
I have already started with the "car fun" as you can see from my sig pic.

I'm gonna take some 1x1 box tube and use 4 inch spacers at the bottom of the strut housing rather than cutting the housing. Hopefully I'm gonna start racing this summer and doing some track events and such. Thanks for the help again w/ the shocks

Turns out the rancho's don't fit at all. They are about 7 inches too short out back because I got the spring compressed on the back as low as possible and it could almost fit on w/ the shock fully extended. The front is too fat and won't even fit into the strut. Luckily the people before me put on some gas shocks which I did comparisons between those and the rancho's and they were pretty equal so I used those instead.

If you are doing auto-x, these pads will be perfect.

If you plan on tracking your car on anything bigger than Bremerton Raceway, get some better performance pads. You'll melt these in a track day. BTDT at PIR in my 944S2 with Mintex standard pads.

Mintex makes a C-Tech brand or I reccomend a Hawk HPS (that stands for "high performance street"). You can still run them on a daily basis but will hold up to the punishment of track driving.

Ya, I'm hoping to do mostly auto-x but will do driving schools at both PIR and Bremerton. I'm gonna b moving to spokane so auto-x is all I'll probably b able to do over there

Seriously, if your doing track, invest in a set of track pads! You aren't going to have much fun if you can't stop. :eek:

Oh contrare... Spokane actually has a wonderful racetrack. I think it's called Spokane Raceway and track events there are considerably less than the ones on the west side of the state! BMWCCA and PCA particularly put on a few events there.

I've never driven it, but it's supposedly a pretty nice track. They actually used to put on a CART race there back in the 80's, so it's much nicer facility wise than Pacific Raceways or Bremmerton (which is about nill!). I think it has a long straight there so our cars may get killed out there though. :p

Ya, it'll be a while before I start tracking. First I wanna do the driving schools before I hit the track just so I know my stuff before I push my car so it'll give me some time to pick up some track pads for sure. Thanks for the advice on tracks, didn't know spokane had anything besides the dragstrip so awesome, gives me a place to take my car on the track at.

There is something like a "skills day", but most driver's schools take place AT the track!

If you aren't ready for track driving, autocross is a great place to start. Also much easier on brakes and tires, and if you really mess up you wipe out and smack a few cones. You make a mistake on the track and you can loose a lot more.
