New Engine Management Forum?
« on: July 30, 2007, 01:28:02 AM »
Hi guys,

I was just thinking that there have been heaps of questions asked about engine management (both OEM and aftermarket).

What do you guys think of having a dedicated engine management forum.

This would allow easy grouping of all those tuning questions together as well as the ongoing discussions of aftermarket systems and "fixes". It would also get away from searching engine/elec/general/track to find something.

Just a thought.

Thanks

Cristian

Hrmmm.....

There HAVE been a number of threads about it.  I think it is a good idea at this point.  The control system is just as important as the physical build, so I will talk to Sheepdog about it.

I like the idea too.  I'll try and get a hold of sheepdog if I see him on IM too.

I honestly do not thin we have enough to really warrant it, but I will create a sub forum for it and see how it goes.

I guess we also need to think of this place as a repository for info, not just a Q&A.

Good idea - especially for Megasquirt, piggyback tuners, etc.

Sounds good, although we do already have an Engine subforum...
