im on the east coast OBX, but I think raleigh could be a good place in general.

Gboro is good. But that outer banks sounds good too. I tell ya on the right day the route up the banks and by ferry is one of the most beautiful ive been on. But Gboro is probably more centrally located, or Raliegh.

How about Four Seasons Mall/Sheraton?  There's a Dunderbak's restaurant there too.  This was the site of 2005's Ofest.

How about November 4th, 2pm until?
