Hi guys-I've been a lurker on this site for 4 years and have been acquiring parts for a 91 318is. I found a 1 owner with 180,000 miles, a failed timing chain and a clean body in SoCal. THis will be my 2nd 318is. The first was a new car buy back in the day and I've always missed that car. My interior fabric is shot and so is the paint and dash.
I have bought a complete engine and accessories from a Vert that failed to navigate around a tree and crunched the side but the engine was unharmed. 130,000 miles with records.
Originally Diamond Schwartz -I've stripped the car and have started a complete repaint-windows and interior out. I'm going with Delphin Gray-I live in Texas and my old e39 was Mason Black and its too hot here for another black car-to say nothing of the issue of keeping it minty.
