« on: June 14, 2016, 02:28:11 PM »
Hey guys,

As the title says I'm looking for the following items: 4.10 LSD, LW Flywheel, Z3 Steering Rack. I'm trying to rebuild my 91 318is and show these M20 guys what the M42 is all about  8) If anyone can help out that would be great!

Cheers,
J

I know it's been a while since you posted this ad, but if you're still looking for the parts I might be able to help out. I have two racks - an E36 325i and an E36 M3. I'm told you should avoid the Z3 rack as it'll reduce your max steering angle.

I'm also looking at a 318iC this weekend. He claims it has an LSD, should be a 4.27 if it's stock.

Can't help with the flywheel though...I hope you've found one!

I'd like to add that I have a stock 1987 325is and a 1991 318is with a 4.10 diff, lightweight flywheel and Z3 rack. The 318is is much quicker but I'll say the the Z3 rack is a little sketchy on the highway. I believe there are 2 different Z3 racks and mine is the quicker of the two. It's so touchy that it darts around at highway speeds.
