Hey everyone, I have been renting special BMW tools for a few years now and decided to build one thread with all the ones I have and can rent. I have more to post but let me start it off. PM if you would like to rent them or if you have any questions. Having the right tools makes every job easier and faster. I know some of the tools are cheaper to buy but if you only have to do the job once, it is not worth it.
For now, here is what I have to rent:
1-Fan Clutch Holder w/32mm spanner wrench. Rental fee is $10, shipping is $8 via USPS priority which means you get the tool in 2-3 days. Continental US only. Yes basic tools can do the job but it can be a pain. Rental fee is for a week, starting the day after tool is received. Shipping is paid by renter both ways and has to have tracking. Security deposit $10 which will get returned upon tool return.

2- Rear Subframe Mount Tool:
Rental fee $50 per week (7 days including weekends) plus shipping. Another $150 deposit that will be returned minus shipping cost. $25 for every week after. Will ship either FedEx or UPS or USPS priority and supply tracking. Return must must include tracking. Will include instructions. Day 1 starts the day after the part is received. Must be shipped on the eighth. Only do Paypal.
Part is from SIRtools, #3026. It also does e36, e28, e23, e34 and e32.
This beats buying the same $400+ tool for a a hard job that only is done every so many years.
