Got my car running on the standalone. Still wrapping everything up, but progress is always forward which is good.

The car now has a G250 trans from an E36 and I have a 3.73LSD to go in the car. The diff ratio with the G250 is equivalent roughly to a 4.25LSD with the G240.

Interior is stripped of all sound deadening and unnecessary circuits.

Should be fun :)

G250 and 3.73 look more like G240 and 4.45  ;) it's even shorter.

G250 and 3.45 will be more like G240 and 4.27, it's what i'm about to do on my E30  :D

I suppose it depends on what gear you are looking at.

The 3.73 with a G250 is somewhere between 4.27 and 4.45.

Either way, it should scoot! On the track I dont even use 5th because the car doesn't have the power to make use of it :)

Here is a very crummy video of me doing a WOT pull on the freeway. You can somewhat see the engine data from the VEMS display, but I was mostly trying to capture the sound of the open stock throttle body.

Video was from a while ago, and I'm just bumping the thread up because its not coming up in searches and can be helpful for people.
