Hello everybody, Im new in M42 Club. My ride is 91 318i. Im in need of your assistance, Today there was a problem occurs with my e30. When I start it up and gas it, it felt losing power and felt sluggish, when I parked it and I smell gas comin out of the muffler. Any inputs would be appreciate.

Check the oil for any coolant. Consider pulling the spark plugs to see if they look OK (tan or light brown & dry is good; black and wet is bad). The smell of gas in the exhaust is typical of a misfiring plug or stuck injector.

I'd also do a stomp test to pull codes from the car.
