Hey guys do any of the M4x engines use a reduction or geared starter as opposed to the conventional type so I could swap into the ex's E36 318is thanks for reading.

Not sure, but you can find the part number and then click the link for the part number, which will then display a list of applicable vehicles that use the selected part.

I'm simply after a more reliable starter. My own started spinning without throwing out. But it throws out at the end of the spin and makes a desperate racket its completely random when it happens.
