Modir93's 91 Alpine..... good news and bad news..
« on: December 20, 2012, 11:22:04 AM »
Hey guys!
Picked up a 91 alpine coupe a few weeks back. Car looked great. 2200 dollars later!

Good news:
-BBS RK's
-Mason Strut Braces (Front and Rear)
-H&R and Bilstein Set up
-Uncracked Dash
-Perfect Interior (Tan...)
-Magnaflow Exhaust (ehh)
-Z3 Short Shifter
-Z3 Steering Rack
-Euro Grilles
-Bosch Smileys

Bad news:
-Seized M42

So I picked up a spare m42 with 170k miles. Starting to prep this engine (new gaskets, seals, etc) to put in the car and DD her!

Hopefully saved another from a wrecking yard!

That's a great candidate for restoration - I'll bet it's really nice not to have to tackle a lot of body and interior issues right off the bat.  I prefer mechanical work maybe 10x more than appearance stuff!

Keep us posted on upgrades...
