I just swapped a set of hog ring pliers for use of the special socket for the transmission tailshaft. I was curious if members have and could list any special tools they would be willing to rent, loan, or swap out. The trans tailshaft socket costs $50 and most people would only need it once. An impact socket has to turned in a lathe or ground down and then drilled on the inside to work. There are also tools for wheel bearings, front and rear suspension bushings, and holders for water pump and crankshaft pulleys and a bunch of other stuff.

As you know, I have the tailshaft socket, SIR Tools 3025.

I also have the crank holder

and the camshaft tool made by Catalyst Racing (http://www.catalystracing.net)

And the thin wrench for the fan pulley.

I'm sure there are more, I'll have to look.
