JOM Coilover Suspension - W'boro, VA
« on: March 03, 2012, 11:07:04 PM »
Sold to the nice young man who just joined the brotherhood of M42!

Posting this on M42Club first and for a week before it goes on the other forums (if it doesn't sell):p

$220 +shipping. If you only want the springs and adjusters we can talk. I'm also interested in trading and/or bartering +/- cash for:
-Non-cracked dash
-13 button OBC kit
-Wiring harness for heated seats
-S50 cams or other components
-M54 pistons/rods
-16" 4X100 rims
  Jeep TJ parts like:
-Ford Explorer 8.8 rear axle
-8K lb > winch...

...I think you get the picture:D (No livestock, drugs, booze, ex-wives or slavic prostitutes either)

Comes with everything EXCEPT THE TWO FRONT SHOCK INSERTS (PO had them lowered to the max and blew them both out . If you want them I'll throw them in, but they're definitely shot.)

I ran all the components through my parts washer and inspected the material condition of everything. The parts are used, but no galling or damaged threads was noted. Everything goes together by hand with no binding and the anodized finish is holding up well. The springs have some paint missing, but there is little-to-no-rust present on them.

Here's how the car looked all JOM'd when I bought it. (I think if one were to install the rubber bumper on the strut insert that may prevent the shocks from being damaged.)

I can't give an objective opinion on how this setup feels and handles as all the bushings in my suspension were original with 157K miles and extremely worn. Except for the suspension and exhaust system the car was factory stock and I'm returning everything back to stock. (I'm 54 years old and don't need to be driving a car that rides and sounds like something my sons would drive:D)

I've attached links to the group buys on R3V for this setup and probably any questions you may have are in there. If not, feel free to contact me.

Im interested. I have an extra set of rear shocks already, so if you want to keep those and we can work out a price let me know.

And yes I know this is my first post, but Ive been reading here for a few weeks since I just got my e30. If you are worried about it I can link you to another forum that im a member of with many posts and good feedback.

Super! I'm sure it will be approved as soon as Dave wakes up from his warm milk induced coma.

Welcome aboard!!
