GroundControl Coilover Spring Rate Recomendations?
« on: October 08, 2011, 12:47:20 PM »
Hey all, I was hoping to get some advice on spring rates for the Coilover kits at Groundcontrol for my 318is. I want to pair them up with Bilstein sport shocks but I have no clue about what spring rate I should apply. Any suggestions or advice would be great!

Thanks

Thanks, that helps quite a bit.

I was also thinking of buying KSport coilovers but I haven't heard or seen any feedback from them...

Spring rate depends on what you want to do with the car....

BMW touring cars use rates up to 1900 lbs. !!
Many street cars run < 400.

I'd look at the part numbers that fit the sport kits, the spring rate is usually in them.
